The intent of this bid call is to obtain an offer to perform work to complete Tender Package #2, for Ecole Wedgeport (PP-6), located at PID 90094715, Wedgeport, Nova Scotia, for a Stipulated Price contract, in accordance with the Contract Documents.  Tender Package #2 Work consists of, but is not necessarily limited to, the following:  

Site Grubbing   

Site Earthwork  

Underground Site Services   

Foundations

Section 00 20 00 INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS, 1.6 SITE ASSESSMENT

.1 IAH will host a Non-Mandatory digital interactive remote Bidder’s Briefing on the following date and time:


Date: April 30, 2021

Time: 1:30 pm


.1 Bidders wishing to attend the digital Bidder’s Briefing are required to pre-register with IAH Design Lead, Peter Connor via E-mail at: peter.connor@novascotia.ca preferably not less than 1 (one) working day prior to the meeting date.


.2 IAH Design Lead will E-mail an electronic meeting link to proponents who are

registered, in advance of the meeting. Bidders will be responsible to ensure all

hardware and software under their control, are in proper working order, to enable them to virtually attend the meeting. The Minister’s will select and utilize a widely used and industry recognizable electronic platform, such as, Skype or Microsoft TEAMS. The platform selected will not require passwords, log-in, or creation of accounts or costs by the attendees. Minister assumes no responsibility or liability for systems functions or failures, or costs incurred by attendees.


Bids will be accepted by DIH from bidders who do not attend the Bidder’s Briefing and Site Assessment.
