SMUD is currently seeking to replace its existing Physical Access Control System (PACS) with a comprehensive on-premises only solution that will encompass access control, intrusion detection and alarm monitoring, video monitoring, visitor management, badging and credential management, and various third-party applications. This replacement project will encompass both the software and licensure to operate it via an in-house server, along with the hardware associated with running all of the aforementioned solutions, integrated into one system that functions to comply with all requirements relevant to SMUD’s needs, as well as needs to comply with regulatory oversight bodies and regulatory compliance.
