Posting Summary
The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a confidential service provided to SMUD employees, their eligible dependents, and any member under the employee’s household (i.e., roommate, in-laws, etc.) to help them cope with a wide range of concerns and incidents. The program utilizes the services of experienced and properly licensed professional counselors to furnish information, guidance and counseling on incidents vital to the individual. The objective of the program is to seek early resolution of various incidents which can affect job performance or home environment and promote the overall wellness, confidence, and self-esteem of the individual. The EAP Program is administered with the highest degree of privacy and professionalism by SMUD’s Benefits Department.
