SMUD is requesting bids to establish a Contract with a single transformer supplier. SMUD is seeking design, manufacturing, storage, testing, and delivery of a replacement transformer at Union Valley Switchyard. Design of the transformer will begin in Q1 2022, the transformer will be built and stored by Q1 2023, and delivery will take place in or before Q3 2023. Installation will take place in Fall 2023.
