Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) System Deployment

Contractor shall provide SMUD an operational Dense Wave Division Multiplex (DWDM) System.  This system shall be established as the high-speed transport system for voice, data and video transport services for SMUD substations, power plants, hydro power plants and the Energy Management Center (EMC).  The DWDM System shall span across Sacramento County.  This will be a “hybrid turn-key” project where the Contractor shall design, engineer, furnish, test, document, and commission a fully operational DWDM System
