Department: Seniors and Long-Term Care and Community Services
Response Deadline Time: 14:00 Atlantic Time

This Request for Proposal (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Province of Nova Scotia (the “Province”), Departments of Seniors and Long-Term Care and Community Services, to prospective Proponents of an Injury/Illness Management Service Provider (the “Third-Party Provider”). Prospective Proponents are to submit proposals for the provision of a Third-Party Provider for an Employee Stay-At-Work, Return-To-Work (SAW/RTW) Program, as further described in the RFP Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”). This RFP is being conducted pursuant to the Nova Scotia Sustainable Procurement Policy and Procurement Manual.

The Department of Seniors and Long-Term Care (SLTC), and the Department of Community Services (DCS) (together, referred to as “the Departments”) are committed to providing a culture of safety across our Long-Term Care (LTC), Home Care (HC) and Disability Support Program (DSP) sectors through various Workplace Safety Initiatives currently underway. As part of these initiatives, the Departments will support the implementation of a SAW/RTW program.

The Departments are seeking the services of one (1) Third-Party Provider that is a qualified business or organization to implement and manage an Employee SAW/RTW Program for participating sector workplaces for both SLTC and DCS.

Please refer to Ariba Event Content for information.  All questions are to be directed through the Ariba Sourcing Event Message Board.
