The evaluation and selection process outlined in this RFSQ is intended to result in the authorization of a standing offer with one supplier who will act as the Province’s primary, but not necessarily exclusive, source of supply for the Deliverables as and when requested (“Standing Offer”).
This RFSQ does not oblige the Province to authorize or order any goods and/or services whatsoever or to spend any monies whatsoever. A financial obligation will come into force only if there is an authorized order against the standing offer and only to the extent stipulated in the order (“Call-up”).
This RFSQ will include petroleum storage tanks, dispensers, fuel reconciliation and monitoring systems, oil water separators, and miscellaneous equipment as noted in the RFP Particulars (Appendix C).
As part of the Sustainable Procurement Policy, the Province is committed to purchasing goods, services, and construction in a manner that is cost-effective, and better for the environment, and our communities.  The Province seeks to work with suppliers who have the knowledge and capacity to apply the principles of sustainability to their own operations.
