Overview
American Eagle Outfitters (AEO) is requesting pricing and delivery times on size rings that would go on to our Denim Rounder Fixtures in AEO Factory Stores located in the USA, Canada and Mexico. If AEO decides to place an order, size rings would be ordered for the Initial Rollout Store Kits and for the Future Replenishment Kits, in the quantities specified below. The Initial Rollout Store Kits are expected to be delivered to store in August 2014.

This NOT an offer to enter into an Agreement with providers, but rather it is a request to receive quotations from invited participants. Nothing contained in this request for quote creates, nor shall be construed to create, any contractual relationship between AEO and any supplier. AEO makes no commitment in or by virtue of this request for quote to procure any goods or services from any participant. Nor does receipt of any participant’s information place AEO under obligation to award a contract/agreement or issue a purchase order to that or any other participant. Such commitments and any binding contractual relationships may be made only in and through a written Purchase Order signed by AEO and the supplier(s) to whom business is/are awarded.


Size Ring Specification
· Outer diameter of the size ring is 3-1/2”.
· Inner diameter of the size ring is 1-3/8”
· Base color of the size ring is AE Blue which closely matches PMS color 296
· Color of the lettering is an opaque cream which closely matches PMS color 7499, which is similar to paper stock color C2/M3/Y13/K0.
· Lettering must be written in Gotham Bold font for the following denim size rings:

o Original Straight
o Original Boot
o Loose
o Bootcut
o Skinny
o Jegging
o Boy Fit
o Favorite Boyfriend

· Lettering to be on both sizes of the size ring
· Lettering to be printed twice on each side of the size ring
· Spacing and Large/Small Caps lettering to be proposed by the supplier.

See the Denim Size Ring photo for an example of a size ring. Your quote must be based on the specification contained in this RFQ and not the photo. The photo is only to provide an example of a size ring.


Initial Rollout Store Kit (158 Kits)
· Each Initial Rollout Store Kit would contain the following number of size rings:

o Original Straight – 4 each
o Original Boot – 4 each
o Loose – 4 each
o Bootcut – 4 each
o Skinny – 4 each
o Jegging – 4 each
o Boy Fit – 4 each
o Favorite Boyfriend – 4 each

· The total number of rings per kit is 32.
· The total number of Factory Stores in the initial rollout is 158.
· Each store will receive 1 Initial Rollout Store Kit with a total of 32 rings.
· The actual store addresses will be provided to the selected supplier. The supplier will be expected to ship the Store Kits direct to the stores using AEO’s FedEx Account Number for delivery prior to 10:00 AM local time.


Store Replenishment Kits
· AEO will require individual denim size Replenishment Kits that consist of 4 rings each.

o Original Straight Replenishment Kit – 4 rings total
o Original Boot Replenishment Kit – 4 rings total
o Loose Replenishment Kit – 4 rings total
o Bootcut Replenishment Kit – 4 rings total
o Skinny Replenishment Kit – 4 rings total
o Jegging Replenishment Kit – 4 rings total
o Boy Fit Replenishment Kit – 4 rings total
o Favorite Boyfriend Replenishment Kit – 4 rings total

· AEO requires twenty-five (25) Replenishment Kits for each denim size ring.
· The replenishment kits must be packaged by denim size ring with 25 Replenishment Kits per box.
· The total number of Replenishment Kit packages should be eight (8), one box per type of denim size ring.


Total Number of Size Rings
To supply the above Initial Rollout Store Kits and Store Replenishment Kits the following total number of size rings must be produced:

· Original Straight Replenishment Kit – 732 rings
· Original Boot Replenishment Kit – 732 rings
· Loose Replenishment Kit – 732 rings
· Bootcut Replenishment Kit – 732 rings
· Skinny Replenishment Kit – 732 rings
· Jegging Replenishment Kit – 732 rings
· Boy Fit Replenishment Kit – 732 rings
· Favorite Boyfriend Replenishment Kit – 732 rings


Supplier Quote Deliverables
The supplier will be expected to provide the following information in the AEO Cost Breakdown Sheet:
· Price per Store Kit
· Estimated weight of a Store Kit
· Estimated Dimensions of a Store Kit box
· Estimated time from receipt of order to shipment of all 158 Store Kits

· Price per Replenishment Kit
· Estimated weight of Replenishment Kit box
· Estimated Dimensions of Replenishment Kit box
· Estimated time from receipt of order to shipment of all 8 boxes of Replenishment Kits

· Supplier Name
· Supplier DUNS number
· Supplier Ship From Address

Size Ring Samples
· Supplier must provide size ring samples for approval by AEO. AEO expects no more than two rounds of sample submittals to match the color and lettering.

· Supplier shall provide 4 Samples of each denim size ring. Sample should be sent to the following address:
