South Coast British Columbia Transportation Authority (SCBCTA) also known as TransLink is responsible for planning, financing and operating the public transportation system throughout Metro Vancouver.
 

TransLink, together with our partners, stakeholders and operating companies, collectively forms the Translink enterprise (collectively the "TLE")  

 

NOI SUMMARY:  
 
Notice is hereby given by the South Coast British Columbia Transportation Authority ("TransLink") of its intent to extend the contract with Ansan Industries Ltd. (the "Supplier") for Traffic Control Services
 

TransLink has chosen to extend this contract and not to call for vendor proposals for the following reasons:

• More time is required to prepare an RFP and go to market
• Traffic Control is a critical service for our Trolley Overhead division and cannot be disrupted
• TransLink plans to develop an RFP and award a three (3) year contract starting in early 2020
