Request for Proposals for Nova Scotia Municipal Flood Line Mapping Test Cases

This project is part of a multi-phase MFLM Project (“Overall Project”)]. The Overall Project is a multi-million-dollar program initiated by the DMA, the Department of Environment, and Geonova (the Nova Scotia government division that provides and manages geographic information for the Province). The Overall Project is supported by the federal Ministry of Public Safety Canada which, through the National Disaster Mitigation Program, has provided matching funding. The Overall Project will develop climate change scenarios and standardize the minimum requirements for flood line mapping that will have a direct impact on the application of the Municipal Government Act and other climate related policy within the Nova Scotia Government.
