Posting Summary

This Request for Information (the “RFI”) is an invitation by the Province of Nova Scotia (the “Province”) to prospective respondents to submit proposals for the provision of Online Chat Bots to the Department of Service Nova Scotia & Internal Services, for the purposes of gathering information about the marketplace in order to assist in the determination of future purchasing options or requirements. This RFI is being conducted pursuant to the Nova Scotia Sustainable Procurement Policy and Procurement Manual.   
   
The Province consists of multiple departments, agencies, boards, and commissions. The Department of Service Nova Scotia and Internal Services (SNS-IS) is a department within the Province that administers public-facing and intergovernmental services.   
  
The goal of this RFI is to gather information for finding further efficiencies within several external and internal business services using chatbots. Many support services currently rely on manual operators to assist Nova Scotia citizens and the Province’s employees.
