This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Province of Nova Scotia (the “Province”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for the provision of a Project Manager for the Department of Service Nova Scotia and Internal Services, as further described in the RFP Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”).  This RFP is being conducted pursuant to the Nova Scotia Sustainable Procurement Policy and Procurement Manual.
Service Nova Scotia and Internal Services, Nova Scotia Digital Service wishes to procure consulting services of a Project Manager to provide project management duties to support Nova Scotia Health (NSH) in implementing revised processes and supporting tools to clean and maintain the SAP master item index; monitor purchasing and invoices compliance with contracts; and, establish more Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) interfaces with high volume suppliers.  The solution is referred to as NuVia by Global Healthcare Exchange (GHX). The IT Project Manager will also provide project management duties beyond the GHX implementation as other supply chain management initiatives are realized.
