The Sacramento Municipal Utility District (District) is a public-power utility providing electric service to the residents and businesses of Sacramento County, California.  With this Request for Proposal (RFP), SMUD seeks the assistance of qualified firms to conduct a residential new construction (Smart Homes) measurement, and verification study. The proposed work will entail the following tasks:  

o    Coordination with District staff  

o    Surveys of sample customers  

o    Field collection of key energy use data where deemed necessary  

o    Statistical evaluation of billing and other collected data  

o    Preparation of a conclusive report of findings
