Posting Summary

This project will utilize drones to obtain high-definition 100-megapixel photos of all components of approximately 1500 transmission structures within Sacramento County, and a portion of South Placer County. The photos will be taken from multiple angles, multiple elevations, and focus on insulators, connectors, splices, structure body and other components. The drones will also take photos of surrounding terrain and transmission structure footings and Right-of-Way (ROW). Additionally, the contractor will submit to SMUD Contract Manager and third-party reviewer all high-resolution images in electronic format with metadata in a SMUD defined file naming convention.
