Posting Summary
Selected contractor will conduct a physical security assessment of each SMUD facility. There will be six (6) sites in total including several main campuses, an Nuclear Regulatory Commission-Regulated Facility, a gas pipeline system and its assets, and two other large and geographically remote facilities. The assessment would be conducted through a combination of site visits, interviews, and documentation reviews.

Questions & Answers
Is this purely a physical assessment as it relates to keeping bad actors from gaining entry? Or is there a cyber component to further assess not only physical access, but the likelihood of a malicious actor gaining persistent digital/logical access to one of the facilities as well?

There will be no cyber component of this assessment. It will be focused on the physical component that may or may lead to further compromises
