The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit a proposal for a long-term Bearing Refurbishment and Machine Services Agreement (MSA) for the repair, refurbishment, or overhaul of hydro turbine and generator guide bearings and components of SMUD’s hydroelectric units that make up the UARP. SMUD will award one contract for a not-to-exceed value of $2,000,000. The work will be on an as-needed basis and requests for services will be issued as written Task Orders.
