Notice of Proposed Procurement
           
1. This NPP is issued pursuant to PWGSC Supply Arrangement (SA) # E60PQ-140003 and covers a requirement from the following product categories of the SA:
           
Category 1 – Interconnecting Panels and Freestanding Systems
Category 2 – Freestanding Height Adjustable Desk / Table Products
Category 3 – Metal Filing and Storage Cabinets
Category 5 – Ancillary and Lighting Products
Category 6 - Support Space – Collaborative Furniture
           
This requirement also contains products that are NON-SUPPLY ARRANGEMENT.
           
2. Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) on behalf of Real Property Branch has a requirement for the purchase, delivery and installation of office furniture to Ottawa, Ontario on or before February 2nd, 2022 (delivery)  and on or before March 9th, 2022 (installation).
           
3. This NPP covers a requirement to be solicited amongst the General Stream (SA holders).
4. This requirement is subject to the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA), the Canada-Columbia Free Trade Agreement, the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP), the Canada-European Union Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA), the Canada-Ukraine Free Trade Agreement, the Canada-Korea Free Trade Agreement, the Canada-Chili Free Trade Agreement, Canada-Panama Free Trade Agreement and Canada-Honduras Free Trade Agreement the Canada-Peru Free Trade Agreement and the World Trade Organization-Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP).
           
5. There is no security associated with the requirement

1. Le présent APM est émis conformément à l’arrangement en matière d’approvisionnement (AMA)  no E60PQ-140003 de TPSGC, et il concerne un besoin des catégories suivantes définies dans l’AMA :

Catégorie 2 - Tables ou bureaux autostables à hauteur réglable
Catégorie 3 - Classeurs et armoires de rangement métalliques

Catégorie 6 - Locaux de soutien et espaces de collaboration
           
Ce besoin contient aussi des produits non disponibles (PND) à l’AMA.
           
2. Services publics et Approvisionnement Canada (SPAC) au nom de la direction générale des biens immobiliers a un besoin d’acheter des produits d’ameublement et de les faire livrer au plus tard le 2 février 2022 et installer au plus tard le 9 mars 2022 à Ottawa (Ontario).
           
3. Le présent APM concerne un besoin devant faire l’objet d’une demande de soumissions auprès des Volet général (titulaires d’un AMA).
           
4. Ce besoin est soumis aux dispositions de l’Accord de libre-échange canadien (ALEC), de l’Accord de libre-échange Canada-Corée de l’Accord de libre-échange Canada-Colombie, de l’Accords de Partenariat transpacifique global et progressiste (PTPGP), de l’Accord économique commercial global entre le Canada et l’Union européenne, de l’Accord de libre-échange Canada-Ukraine, de l’Accord de libre-échange Canada-Chili, de l’Accord de libre-échange Canada-Panama, de l’Accord de libre-échange Canada-Honduras, de l’Accord de libre-échange Canada-Pérou et de l’Accord sur les marchés publics de l’organisation mondiale du commerce (AMP-OMC).

Can you please confirm that there is NOT currently a request under EP076-22095 (WS3142414677) as posted on Buy & Sell?

We have been experiencing technical issues in regards to mirror postings on Buy & Sell.  At this time there is no posting for solicitation EP076-22095.

Q1: Pouvez-vous confirmer qu'il n'y a PAS actuellement une demande sous EP076-22095 (WS3142414677) telle qu'affichée sur Achat et Vente ?

R1: Nous avons rencontré des difficultés techniques concernant les affichages parallèles sur le site Achat et Vente.  Il n'y a aucune demande de sollicitation pour EP076-22095 actuellement.

1) Could you please confirm ceiling height on each of the floors?

2) Annex C - Floor Plans, Panel details, states that "when power is required, the power is located below and above the worksurface height". Will the power above the worksurface be required on the panel itself? Or will this power be required through the attached power modules?

If power above worksurface is required on the panel itself, can you please confirm how many duplex receptacles you will require in each workstation?

3) On furniture drawing Level 8, Wkstns 08416 & 08417 have panel type C along the spine wall. Is there a requirement for duplex receptacles on the opposite side of these workstations? Should these panel types be panel type B instead of C?

This also occurs in the same location on all 4 floors, as well as wkstns 11306, 11307, 12108, 12307, 13306 and 13307. Please confirm.

4) Due to limiting size constraints in the SA, would you consider removing Modular Benching and Modular Benching with side tables (including NSA modular benching products listed here) to it's own sub-category?

5) Cat 6B, item #1 & 10, Training Tables with removable power points (i.e. a plug into a wall outlet or floor monument) would be contradictory to GoC health and safety policies which indicated power bars cannot be daisy-chained; power bars must be plugged directly into a fixed 120V socket. Given this, please confirm Canada will allow for hardwired connections with modular wiring on Training Tables or provide separate plug-in points for each power unit/table to prevent daisy-chaining. If Canada will not allow for this, please move these tables to their own sub-category.

6) Cat 6C, items #5, 6 and 7, would you also accept a polymer seat and back instead of bent plywood?

7) Cat 6E, item #3 & Non-SA item#4 & 5, would you also accept a tablet arm on a pedestal base that does not have an auto-return feature?

8) Would you consider removing Cat 6E items # 1 & 2 mobile and freestanding screens into it's own sub-category?

At this time, we would also respectfully request an extension to the closing date.
