Line Item #11 is an estimate and is not mandatory to complete. If there’s no discount offered, your team would put $20,000 on cost for SMUD. This line item would allow vendors to include any discounts they may offer on services that SMUD team may find is needed support outside of the proposed scope. The associated amount is what our team landed on based on the total budgeted for the M&S contract.

Correct, this solicitation is for maintenance and support of the two products and bidders must be certified resellers. SMUD business practice is to work with authorized resellers on licenses.
