South Coast British Columbia Transportation Authority (“TransLink”) is responsible for planning, financing and operating the public transportation system throughout Metro Vancouver pursuant to the South Coast British Columbia Transportation Authority Act. This Request for Proposal ("RFP") is issued by TransLink, on behalf of its operating entity, the British Columbia Rapid Transit Company Ltd. (“BCRTC”), to solicit proposals for the design, manufacture, testing, delivery and commissioning of two-hundred and five (205) passenger railcars as further outlined in the Scope of Work/Requirements section of this RFP.

TransLink intends to conduct a site visit to be held  at a location within Metro Vancouver. The site visit is not mandatory; however, TransLink encourages companies to attend in order to gain a better understanding of the SkyTrain system requirements. Refer to Section 7 of the RFP for details.    
     
Suppliers are required to confirm attendance to the site visit by sending a message through the Event Messages functionality in the Ariba RFP Event*. TransLink will then provide the site visit date and address to the registered companies.      
     
* You must first confirm your intent to participate to the Ariba RFP Event.
